I have to start this review off by just saying WOW! The Michael Hart Band of Hank Lane is absolutely unbelievable! My husband and I originally saw them at a cousin’s wedding. After standing there for 15 minutes with our jaws dropped opened and then not sitting for the remainder of the night…we knew this was the band we NEEDED to have at our wedding.
The band can either make or break your event…let me tell you this is one of the best bands out there! Michael and his band are incredible. They have such personality — each member! The music they play is so current and I swear if you didn’t think about it you would think they were whatever singer they are singing. Each band member is critical to the band and brings their own special something. Whether its the vocals (singing or rapping) or the instrumentals/beat — they’ve got it completely covered!
The band was one of the most talked about aspects of our wedding. I had guests coming up to me throughout the entire wedding asking what their name was and writing it in their phone as well as photographing and recording them. I even saw one of my friends grab about 10 business cards — everyone could not get enough! They are well worth every penny and I couldn’t have dreamed of having a more packed dance floor with our guests.
Michael was a pleasure to work with. When we met with him about a month before the wedding — he put all of my nerves to rest. He’s so calm, patient and knowledgeable. He actually got up in the middle of our meeting, grabbed his keyboard and played the songs we were talking about throughout our meeting right there! I felt so comfortable working with him. I knew we were in good hands. He was on top of things from the minute we met him until the minute the wedding was over. A true professional!
The band members are also top notch. From the musicians to the vocalists, they are unbelievable. Literally, unlike any other band out there. When we saw the band at our cousins wedding, we fell in love with Michael and his whole band (especially Andrew the electric violinist). They rocked our wedding and having Andrew sing and break it down on his violin was a huge crowd pleaser!! Such talent! This is such an eclectic band! The whole band is so enthusiastic and just created the most perfect vibe for our wedding. It was my dream come true.
I am so sad that the wedding is over and that I can’t hire the whole band to come and party with us on a regular Friday or Saturday night with just my husband and I in our apartment. I can’t wait to plan another event and I have my fingers crossed that they will be playing at all of our friends’ events in the future. I can’t wait to work with them again and will definitely be recommending them to anyone and everyone!
